DELF Certification at WIC

We believe that mastering French is about developing meaningful skills that inspire confidence, broaden perspectives and create new opportunities. The DELF certification showcases students’ French skills and provides them with a globally recognized credential. All WIC French Immersion graduates earn this certification, which demonstrates our commitment to linguistic excellence and readiness for future academic and professional challenges.

What is the DELF?

The DELF (Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française) is an internationally recognized certification that assesses French language proficiency. Offered by the French Ministry of Education, the DELF is divided into four levels: A1, A2, B1 and B2, each corresponding to different stages of language mastery. These exams evaluate a student’s abilities in listening, reading, writing and speaking, and are widely accepted by universities, employers and institutions around the world.
