Inspiring Curiosity Through Scientific Inquiry

The science program at WIC encourages students to explore the wonders of the natural world through a comprehensive and inquiry-based curriculum. In alignment with Alberta Education, our program covers biology, chemistry, physics and general science, promoting scientific literacy and critical thinking.

We challenge our students to engage in advanced scientific inquiry and research, fostering a deeper understanding and passion for the sciences that extends beyond the classroom.

Students Will Gain:
  • Scientific Literacy
  • Inquiry Skills
  • Critical Thinking Skills
  • Interdisciplinary Knowledge
  • Increased Environmental Awareness

Science is a journey of curiosity, where questioning fuels discovery and unlocks a deeper understanding of the world around us. Our students dive into hands-on experiments, explore unique phenomena and connect scientific concepts to their everyday lives. Watching them observe, wonder and experiment inspires a sense of excitement and possibility that makes every day in the lab an adventure.
