Senior high students can choose from a diverse selection of electives that align with their career aspirations and personal interests, such as Sports Performance, Aboriginal Studies, General Psychology, World Religions and Economics.

Advanced Placement
The Advanced Placement (AP) Program at WIC enables students to engage in university-level coursework while still in high school. By excelling in AP examinations, students may earn university credits, advanced placement, or both.
Our AP offerings include courses such as Calculus, Microeconomics, English Literature & Composition, French Language & Culture, Art History, Music Theory and Human Geography. These rigorous and in-depth courses are designed to mirror the challenges students will encounter in higher education, providing a robust foundation for future academic success.
Real-World Experiences
The Institute Program at WIC offers experiential learning in various fields, providing students with opportunities to explore their passions and develop skills in specific areas. The program includes workshops, guest speakers, and hands-on projects, enhancing students' educational experience and preparing them for future success.

These provide structured time for students to focus on personal and academic development.
In Junior High, they emphasize self-assessment and learning strategies, covering topics like navigating stereotypes, fitting in, and staying organized with technology.
In Senior High, tutorials take on a more flexible and student-driven approach. They offer opportunities for group work, connecting with teachers for extra help or peer tutoring. These sessions support students in staying balanced and on track to achieve their goals.
