Following City Championships, Annaliese and Alan advanced to Badminton Provincials in Red Deer, where they showcased their talent against top players from across Alberta. Both dominated in round robin and quarterfinal play and reached the semifinals on Saturday.

  • Annaliese fought through a challenging three-set match and came back strong to claim bronze.
  • Alan secured a thrilling victory in a three-set final to take gold—a perfect finish to a standout season.

Thanks to their exceptional performance, WIC also proudly earned the 3A Team Provincial Banner, despite only having two athletes represent the school. A huge thank-you goes to the families who travelled to cheer on our Wolves in Red Deer!

Whether it was a first-time tournament or a provincial championship match, our Wolves brought passion, sportsmanship, and resilience to every court this season. We’re proud of each and every athlete who contributed to WIC’s success and supported their teammates with heart and hustle.
