Wolves debut with a 5–0 victory on home turf

History was made on Monday, May 5, as WIC’s Senior Co-ed Soccer Team took to the new athletic field for their first-ever game. The Wolves made their mark in style, earning a decisive 5–0 victory over STEM Academy.

“It felt amazing to be part of something new and to play the first game on our own field,” shared Grant F., a Grade 12 athlete and co-captain of the soccer team. “We’ve been working hard, and winning our first game as a team was unreal.”

The Senior Co-ed Soccer Team is the newest addition to WIC Athletics, introduced this spring as part of the expanded use of our full-sized athletic field. It reflects our continued commitment to providing students with diverse opportunities to lead, grow and compete with passion. Seeing our student-athletes thrive on this field is what it’s all about.

This milestone moment is just the beginning for the team and for a new chapter in the WIC Wolves’ athletics legacy.

Go Wolves!
