Innovation Alley Fund

Goal for Annual Fund - $30,000

The Wolves Den Hub continues to provide an incredible home for the WIC multimedia program. With more than half of WIC students engaged in computer science and multimedia programming each year, there is an exciting opportunity to support innovative and enriched learning experiences for our students.

In today’s digital landscape, media literacy and technical skills are essential for our students' success. Our Computer Science program and Broadcasting Studio have ignited a growing interest among students in creative digital expression—whether it’s producing music, films, podcasts, or artwork. Many of our students have already expressed interest in pursuing studies in fields like digital animation. Students equipped with working knowledge of the techniques and skills needed in this area will have a significant edge over their peers.

To nurture this talent and enthusiasm, we are excited about enhancing our comprehensive Digital Media Program.

We will:

  • Equip WIC students with essential skills and knowledge for navigating an increasingly media-rich world.
  • Provide hands-on experiences in photography, videography, post-production editing, visual effects and animation.

  • Support students in learning the fundamentals of photography, including composition, lighting, and digital processing.

  • Foster student creativity and artistic expression through video production, including storyboarding, shooting, and editing.

To support these learning opportunities for our students we need:

  • High quality cameras, iPads, computers and printers.
  • Photographic lighting and studio equipment to provide a truly outstanding experiential learning environment for WIC students.

  • State of-the-art editing software to refine and enhance media projects.

Help us build digital media skills and thank you for supporting our students!
