We are truly saddened to hear about the passing of Jack A. Grant. As a community, we are truly saddened to hear of this and wish to remember him and honour his memory.
Always a wise and guiding force, Mr. Grant was the longest-standing Headmaster of WIC and one of the primary visionaries of the College from its humble beginnings in 1982. WIC would not be the educational institution it is today without Mr. Grant’s ideas and efforts and, for these, we are profoundly grateful.

Most recently, this past spring, we were fortunate to have Mr. Grant come back to the school campus for a visit. While here, he sat down for a fireside chat, where he impressed us with his incredible memories and profound insights; he told us all about the inception of WIC and his time here. Our sincere condolences go out to Mr. Grant's family. His remarkable legacy will live on through his family, our community, and his immeasurable contributions to West Island College.
