Voyage FrancoFUN à WIC is a fun, free and interactive afternoon for current Grade 6–8 French Immersion students to experience Junior High French Immersion at West Island College. Through games, creative activities, and shared experiences, students will see how French comes to life at WIC—while meeting new friends, connecting with current and incoming students, and becoming a part of our vibrant French Immersion community.
Parents are invited for our Café Croissant Meet & Greet, too!

What to Expect
Students will take part in a variety of hands-on experiences that reflect the diversity and energy of the Francophone world, including:
- Creating with a Francophone visual artist
- Drumming with a Franco-African musician
- Playing Omnikin/Kinball, a Québec-origin team sport designed for all levels of athleticism
- Student-led campus tours
- Poutine to wrap up the afternoon
- Opportunities to meet current WIC students and experience campus life
The experience is designed to be active, engaging, and accessible for all learners.

While students take part in Voyage FrancoFUN, parents are invited to join us for a Café Croissant Meet & Greet. This relaxed gathering offers an opportunity to learn more about French Immersion at WIC, meet members of our dedicated Francophonie faculty, connect with current French Immersion students, and enjoy coffee & croissants together.
