West Island College, in partnership with Summit Hockey Academy has implemented a Hockey Option at WIC. In an attempt to mirror WIC's high academic standards, Summit Hockey Academy offers an opportunity for students to enroll in a high level hockey skills program while maintaining the strong academic focus provided by the college. Many of the participants have their sights set on college scholarships and recognize the importance of a sound education along with a high level of sport-specific training.
